About Us

Our Mission

Stat PADS is a full service AED Program Management and Safety company.

Our mission is to enable our customers to save more lives by providing them access to life-saving equipment and training, including AEDs and related supplies, compliance services, first aid and CPR/AED training. Our competitive pricing and our commitment to creating a concierge-level service experience for our customers further enables them to be ready for the unexpected.

Owned & Managed by Emergency Physicians

Stat PADS was founded in 2001 by L. Tad Cowley, MD and J. Thomas Ahlquist, MD. We are independently owned and operated, which allows us to provide our clients with unbiased guidance on how best to establish and maintain a successful AED program, which equipment to purchase, and how to ensure that trained responders are on staff and ready to act.

Stat PADS has served thousands of customers over the years and we carefully track each and every save among our customer base. Our greatest source of pride is the fact that more than 70% of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) victims treated by our customers have survived! That is more than 10 times the national average for SCA victims who do not get treated with an AED. It is also a testament to the importance of having a well-managed AED program. Simply buying the AED isn’t enough.

At Stat PADs, we understand that lives depend on what we do every day. We are here to help our customers be at their best under the worst of circumstances.

Thanks for allowing us to help save more lives…
